From Lake Michigan's Strandy Beaches -- Bridesmaids' Necklaces

I've missed posting here for a couple of weeks. Part of that time, we were away on vacation in the Leelanau Peninsula here in Michigan.  I agree with Good Morning America ... what a BEAUTIFUL Place.

Lake Michigan - The Homestead - Glen Arbor
But now, time to get on with the wedding preparations.

As promised in my last post, I've now designed and finished one set of strands that will make up a bridesmaid's necklace.  I decided to make five strands, each unique.  Colors of purple (plum), green (clover), topaz, and gold are featured in both the beads and stringing/crochet materials used.   Below are photos of each of the five strands:

These will be placed together to form a single necklace -- what I call one of my "weedy" design necklaces.  I have not bound the strands together yet, or added the findings, but the photos below give you an idea of the finished look:

I'll be sure to post photos of the finished necklace when I attach the findings.  Now I have four more sets of strands to make!

Stay tuned for more  wedding creations!
